Areas of Special Interest & Training
As a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, I also have additional certificates in Trauma-Focused CBT as well as Medical Integrative Therapy for co-occurring disorders involving the intersection of physical and mental health. I use a Strength-Based model to empower clients to become experts in their own healing journey. This includes being given tangible tools and techniques to use outside of session, so that the client is empowered to move with power through their growth process. When requested, I am also able to incorporate faith-based Christian counseling into sessions, to enhance treatment and tap into that well of support.
