A Bit About Me
I worked in a health care setting for 38 years prior to private practice and have a passion for helping others attain their maximum wellness by improving their mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical health.
I worked in a Family Medicine Residency program for 29 years and had the honor of teaching residents’ behavioral science and counseling skills. The FM Residency setting provided the opportunity to gain a solid understanding of the demands of medical education, residency training, workload in a primary care office, and the stress of managing the care of patients in a full practice.
Over the years, I have counseled Physicians and allied health care providers through professional burnout, compassion fatigue, legal challenges, work conflicts, ethical decision making, test taking anxiety, fear of public speaking, grief recovery, domestic violence, recovery from trauma, suicide prevention, substance abuse recovery, sleep problems, health problems, work life balance, career decisions, and relationship challenges.
